Conference code of conduct
Swedish Chemical Society and its divisions
The conference organisers are dedicated to offering a rewarding and enjoyable conference experience to all attendees, and in support of this goal we would like to introduce our Code of Conduct. We expect that all attendees, speakers, sponsors and volunteers at our conference agree to, and abide by, this code of conduct. The organisers will monitor and enforce this code throughout the event. We expect cooperation from all participants to help ensure a safe and secure environment for all.
What do we expect from our attendees?
We expect that all attendees actively contribute to our vision for a harassment-free conference experience for everyone. This means that you are not allowed to harass or discriminate any other attendee on the basis of gender, gender identity and expression, age, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, ethnicity, religion (or lack thereof), or technology choices.
We do not tolerate harassment of conference participants in any form. Sexual language and imagery is not appropriate for any conference venue, including talks, workshops, parties, Twitter and other online media.
Photography or scanning of posters, slides and other material may only be made with the permission of the presenter. Under no circumstances may material obtained from the conference or the conference website be used for commercial purposes.
What happens to someone violating the code?
Conference participants violating these rules may be sanctioned or expelled from the conference without a refund at the discretion of the conference organisers. We expect participants to follow these rules at conference and workshop venues and during conference-related social events and travel.
Contact a member of the conference staff immediately. We will help to solve any issues in appropriate manner.
