DESCRIPTION:The next monthly Zoom seminar in the Bioanalytical Series will be February 14 at 14 (2 pm) CET.\nSpeaker: Prof. Tautgirdas Ruzgas\, Biomedical Technology\, Malmö University\, Malmö\, Sweden \nSeminar title: “Wireless sensing of microbial biofilms” \n\nRuzgas obtained his PhD degree in Biochemistry in 1992 at Institute of Biochemistry\, Vilnius\, Lithuania. Since then\, his main research interests have been in electroanalysis\, application of (electro)analytical chemistry for fundamental studies of enzymes\, cells and biological barriers (e.g.\, skin\, intestine)\, development of wireless biosensors for non-invasive sensing\, monitoring of drug delivery (e.g.\, topical drug delivery)\, characterisation of inflammatory and cancer relevant reaction (e.g. skin cancer). T. Ruzgas currently is a director of Biofilms – research center for biointerfaces (ww.mau.se/BRCB) at Malmö University and serves as an editor of Bioelectronics section of journal Biosensors and Bioelectronics.\n\nThe seminar will be Central Europe Time 14-15 (2-3 pm)\, including questions\, with a followup open informal discussion from 15 – 15:30. \nAll are welcome. \nA zoom link so you can copy and paste: https://gu-se.zoom.us/j/66599921652 \n
