At this symposium\, we seek to highlight some of the key research developments at the interface of machine learning and materials of the past couple of years\, focusing on the following themes: \n\nGenerative AI for Materials and Molecules\nML-accelerated Simulations\nAutomation\, Experiments\, and Machine Learning\nFoundation Models for Materials and Molecules\n\nRegistration Information\nThe event includes coffee breaks (fika) and a poster session. Please register early as capacity for the conference is limited via the registration link below (note: the ”Sign up here” button is broken). \n\nREGISTRATION LINK ← sign up here\nIf you would also like to present a poster\, please submit an abstract here\, and use this template to prepare your abstract.\nContributed talks with be selected from the best submitted poster abstracts! DESCRIPTION:Sommarkurs för dig som undervisar kemi på högstadiet eller naturkunskap på gymnasiet. Under veckan kommer vi att genomföra ett stort antal kemilaborationer som kan användas i undervisningen och samtala om hur de kan användas i undervisningen. Det blir också föreläsningar för påfyllning av kemiteori och exempel på andra former av undervisning\, exempelvis simuleringar och spel. Givetvis utgår vi från aktuella styrdokument. Alla deltagare är välkomna att dela goda exempel och komma med önskemål på vad som ska tas upp. \n\n\n\n\n\nKursinnehåll\nKursveckan kommer att inledas efter lunch på måndagen och avslutas vid lunchtid på fredagen. Däremellan är för- och eftermiddagarna indelade i olika ”pass” utifrån teman i kursplanen för årskurs 7-9. På kvällarna finns möjlighet att delta i sociala kemiaktiviteter.

SUMMARY:Welcome to Swedish Proteomics Society meeting - 16-18 September in Umeå!
DESCRIPTION:WELCOME TO SPS 2026! \nThis year’s Swedish Proteomics Society meeting which will be held in Umeå on 16-18/Sept/2026. This year\, we are partnering with the Swedish Mass Spectrometry Society and the Swedish Metabolomics Center to organize the conference. \nThe conference will include sessions on multiomics\, AI approaches for data analysis\, spatial methods\, and other topics – with lots of talks selected from abstracts. There will also be satellite workshops before the conference. \nMatthias Mann will deliver the plenary talk and\, before the conference dinner\, you will have the opportunity to get a tour of the Bildmuseet in Umeå – which provides an amazing view of the city covered in beautiful autumn colors at that time of the year. \nWith the days getting shorter\, the night gets dark enough that with some luck it will be possible to watch Northern lights by walking a just a bit outside the city center. \nSo\, be sure to register right now\, as there will be a limited number of seats! \n\n\n\n\n\n\nImportant dates: \nDeadline for a regular fee: July 30th\, 2026\nDeadline for late fee: August 31st\, 2026\nOn site fee from September 1st\, 2026\nClick here to register. \nDeadline for abstract submission: June 17th\, 2026\nAbstract notification: June 24th\, 2026\nClick here to submit an abstract.
