SUMMARY:9th Molecular Quantum Mechanics conference (MQM19)
DESCRIPTION:The series of ”Molecular Quantum Mechanics” conferences are held as a triannual event and traditionally honor the scientific achievements of leading scientists in the field of molecular quantum mechanics\, who usually were born in the host country.\nThe MQM 2019 in Germany will be held in honor of Prof. Werner Kutzelnigg\, Prof. Wilfried Meyer and Prof. Sigrid Peyerimhoff and in memory of Prof. Reinhart Ahlrichs. All of these four outstanding scientists have made seminal contributions to the field of electronic structure theory\, in particularly to the understanding of electron correlation phenomena and in the development of new and powerful approximation methods in this area. \nThe conference will cover all aspects of theoretical chemistry but with a focus on wavefunction theory. There will be around 70 oral presentations including four historic lectures as well as two poster-sessions.

SUMMARY:21st European Symposium on Organic Chemistry
DESCRIPTION:Thematically\, ESOC 2019 will highlight modern trends in \nTotal Synthesis and Methodology Catalysis\nMedicinal Chemistry and Chemical Biology\nSupramolecular Chemistry\nOrganic Materials\nPhysical and Computational Organic Chemistry. \nThe conference is ideally suited for organic chemists from both academia and industry. In particular\, PhD students\, postdocs and young researchers will have plenty of opportunity for exchange and discussion. Besides 11 plenary and 12 invited lectures\, there are about 30 slots for short oral presentations (15 min) and space for ≥ 400 posters.

This event is run under the auspices of the EuCheMS Division of Chemical Education\, and in collaboration with the Royal Australian Chemical Institute\, Societa Chimica Italiana and the Royal Society of Chemistry. This event brings together those passionate about chemistry education to share and showcase best practice in the field\, and network across the community.
