SUMMARY:Balticum Organicum Syntheticum 2020 (BOS2020)
DESCRIPTION:BOS2020 is a 3.5 day organic conference held biennially in the Baltic capitals; in 2020 it will be held in Vilnius. In addition to academic and industrial speakers\, there will be two poster sessions. \nSpeakers include: Stephen Buchwald\, Karl Anker Jørgensen\, Tehshik Yoon\, Olivier Baudoin\, Vilius Franckevicius\, Olafs Daugulis\, Patrick Fier\, Diane Carrera\, Antonia Stepan\, Andres Merits\, Shu Yu\, Addy Pross\, Franziska Schoenebeck\, Anwei Ma\, Sebastian Lemaire\, Martin Oestreich\, Stefan Matile\, and Bill Morandi. \nThere will be an opening reception and a banquet for the attendees.

SUMMARY:ECRICE 2020
DESCRIPTION:We are delighted to welcome you to the 2020 ECRICE conference in Weizmann Institute of Science\, Israel\, July 6-8\, 2020. \nResearch in Chemistry education advances our understanding of how students learn chemistry and what can enhance chemistry learning and teaching. We\, the community of chemistry education researchers\, study factors that support or inhibit chemistry learning. We examine different learning environments and new ways in which technology can be integrated in chemistry teaching\, and the relationship between chemistry\, society and other scientific disciplines. We look for elements that promote students’ motivation to study chemistry\, and we constantly develop ways to prepare chemistry teachers and support their continuous development during their careers. We do not stop to try and examine new emergent areas of research and development that could be part of the field of chemistry education\, as well as new pedagogies and technologies that might influence and advance our research and practice. \nWe therefore chose the theme of conference:\n“Excellence and Innovation in Chemistry Teaching and Learning”\nThe theme reflects the innovative nature of the field of chemistry teaching and learning\, as well as our constant striving for excellence. Yet\, we remind ourselves a quote of Marie Curie “Have no fear of perfection; you’ll never reach it.”

SUMMARY:Peptide Self-Assembley 2020
DESCRIPTION:The central theme of the conference is to provide a platform for people to convert knowledge into application through collaborative endeavours. We aim to provide an exciting scientific program with a wide range of topics including bionanomaterials\, therapeutic delivery vehicles\, synthesis and characterisation as well as clinical assessments of antibacterial\, anticancer and immune modulation peptides. With representation from both academia and industry\, we will provide a space to communicate ideas as well as explore new ones. There will also be an opportunity for young researchers to present their academic posters with a selection of short talks provided by PhD students on their current work.
