DESCRIPTION:We are delighted to inform you that the next European Conference on the Spectroscopy of Biological Molecules (ECSBM) will be held in Lodz\, Poland\, 1st–5th September 2024. \nThe conference is dedicated to advances in biological\, medical\, biomedical and related areas of molecular spectroscopy\, its applications\, statistical and chemometric analysis methods and is an excellent opportunity to discuss and exchange cutting edge knowledge and ideas in molecular spectroscopy in a broad sense. \nThe 20th ECSBM conference attracts a global audience of hundreds of scientists and rotates around the globe. \nPoland will host this prestigious event for the first time! DESCRIPTION:Välkomna till ett föredrag om anläggning och restaurering av våtmarker på Utö\n\nDag: Torsdagen den 12 september 2024 kl 19.00\nPlats: Magnélisalen\, Stockholms universitet\n\n\nFöredragshållare är Robert Cederlund och Thomas Hjelm\, om anläggning och restaurering av våtmarker på Utö.\n\n\nVälkommen till Magnélisalen på Stockholms universitet den 12 september\, 19.00\, där Robert Cederlund och Thomas Hjelm berättar sitt projekt på Utö som nu har pågått några år. Det handlar om anläggning och restaurering av våtmarker på Utö i syfte att förbättra vattenkvaliteten i delar av Östersjön samt ge förutsättningar för sötvattensfiskar att fortplanta sig och överleva i de kustnära vattnen utanför Utö. Sediment med närsalter samlas även upp och återförs till kretsloppet genom att ingå som komponent i odlingar av olika slag i anslutning till våtmarken.\nFöredraget beräknas ske 19.00-20.00 och efterföljs i vanlig ordning av en eftersits med lättare förtäring där man har möjlighet att komma till tals med föredragshållarna under mer avspända förhållanden. DESCRIPTION:The Nordic Chemistry Learning Conference\, NCL\, is a conference that aims to inspire and help chemistry teachers to stay up-to-date on the research front and the latest developments in the chemistry sector. \nThe theme of the conference is ”Chemical education in a changing world”. \nOne of the aims is to present chemistry teaching with subsequent discussion about what differs between the various countries. DESCRIPTION:Dear colleagues\, \nIt is our great pleasure and honour to announce the FEBS3+ Meeting: Exploring Molecular Frontiers which will be held from 25th to 28th September 2024 in Pula\, Croatia. This meeting is organised as a joint meeting of three FEBS constituent societies: Croatian Society of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology\, Swedish Society for Biochemistry\, Biophysics and Molecular Biology and Finnish Biochemical\, Biophysics and Microbiology Society (Biobio Society). Croatian and Finnish Societies declare this conference as their national Meeting. \nThe scientific programme will focus on important recent developments in a wide range of molecular life sciences including biochemistry\, molecular biology\, biotechnology\, biomedicine\, but also on education in science. The invited speakers are outstanding experts in their field and emerging young scientists. Där kommer han att utforska hur vi kan efterlikna naturens metoder för att rena vatten — en process som är hundra gånger mer effektiv än dagens teknik.
