About the RSC CWP Network
The Chemicals Waste and Pollution Network (RSC CWP Network) is a new network within the Royal Society of Chemistry. The purpose of this new network is to provide a structured way for the RSC to draw upon expertise from across the chemical sciences internationally, engage with expert professionals to inform policy positions and engagement with the United Nations Environment Program (UNEP) and Member States as the new United Nations Intergovernmental Science-Policy Panel on Chemicals Waste and Pollution (ISP-CWP) and the UN Global Framework on Chemicals (GFC) move to their next stages of activity and capacity building.
The RSC CWP Network will be a ‘Network of Networks’ in the scientific community, helping the RSC to ensure that robust, policy-relevant scientific insight and expertise can feed into assessments, taskforces and working groups as they are developed.
