The Swedish Society for Biochemistry, Biophysics, and Molecular Biology – SFBBM – is inviting members to support and participate in the launch of the  SFBBM Junior Section.

The formation of the junior section in Sweden is supported by FEBS through the Careers of Young Scientists Committee as part of the FEBS Junior Section Initiative (https://www.febs.org/events/early-career-meetings/febs-junior-section-activities/).

The main aim of the Junior Section is to support junior researchers in biosciences by organizing academic and career-focused talks.

If you are a Bachelor’s, Master’s, PhD student, or PostDoc and would like to get involved, please reach out to us (see contact information below).

Everyone at the aforementioned career stages are welcome, regardless of their background or research focus (as long as it is reasonably related to biochemistry, biophysics and/or molecular biology). Our aim is to form a core group of interested people that can contribute to this initiative, something that will help both themselves as well as the wider community. To facilitate communication and coordination, we will create a dedicated mailing list for Junior Section activities.

If you have any questions, comments, or ideas, please don’t hesitate to contact us:
